From my first conversation with Ellis, he was attentive and interested in what I was looking for in a supply job and what I wanted to achieve. Ellis is professional and friendly in the way he talks with his clients and talks about the schools he has contacts with. It is evident that Ellis is honest in his manner, as the schools always speak positively about him also. He has always provided work for me at every opportunity that I have been available for. As the website says ‘Placing professionals, not just plugging gaps’, Ellis is genuinely concerned with finding the best match for you, whether that be a short-term or long-term placement. Additionally, Ellis has always offered his honest opinion in any matters I have asked of him and has continually put my needs first above any business interests.

“I found working for Thrive Education to be a really enjoyable experience. Ellis was friendly, easy to work for and always had work available for me. In the six months that I worked for Thrive Education, I pretty much worked every available workday, barring school holidays. The starting process was quick too, I provided all the necessary registration information and, as soon as my DBS and references came back, I was straight into work. As I said before, it was an extremely enjoyable experience for me, and I don’t have any negative feedback to give in regards to working for Ellis and Thrive Education.”

After completing my PGCE, I was reluctant to join supply agencies due to the horror stories I’d heard. However, Ellis was professional, enthusiastic and completely eased my mind. He values NQT’s and encourages your professional development moving forward. He set me up with fantastic schools and gave me an insight into what to expect from them before my arrival which was extremely helpful. In a nutshell, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Thrive Education and the support and Ellis’ professionalism has been superior.

Ellis is a proactive and diligent person providing individualized services in the Education recruitment sector. From the start he was able to target my skills to the right opportunities, coaching me towards success. Working with Ellis for the past few years it has been an absolute pleasure and he is the first point of call, always available for questions, help and advice. He is one of the few who has a genuine interest in fitting the right person to the right job. I would strongly recommend Ellis to all

Ellis’s great skill lies in really getting to know the teachers and the schools he deals with. By properly understanding a teacher’s experience, skillset and vision of how they want to contribute, he ensures they are introduced to a school where their strengths are valued and their faces fit. Significantly, Ellis follows through after a booking has been secured, remaining on hand to offer advice and iron out any concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend Ellis to any teacher seeking either temporary or more long-term work in a local school.

I have worked with Ellis for a number of years now and can honestly say that the support and service he provides is second to none. Not only is Ellis very professional and personable, he understands how schools work and (very importantly for me) does not do the pushy salesman role at all. Ellis has always gone above and beyond and provided a level of support I hadn’t envisaged. Other supply/recruitment service providers would have to do an awful lot more to try to match this level of support.

Thrive are unique in providing support that shows they care about you as an individual, not just as a cash producing number. Thrive go the extra mile and call me regularly during my placements. This level of interest makes me feel appreciated and valued.

I can only see Thrive…well thriving really ! They have a very simple business model, it’s about real people, look after the teacher, look after the school and the business can only grow and prosper.
